Tuition and Fees


Dietetic Interns are eligible for:

Financial Stipend: $10,198 Graduate Teaching Assistantship (year one)
Other Stipend: full tuition fee waiver (years one and two), possible Graduate Research Assistantship (year two), student health insurance with GTA

Financial Aid: WVU Financial Aid http://www.finaid.wvu.edu/. Interns are able to defer student educational loans while participating in the internship.

Miscellaneous Fees:

Interns in the program are required to purchase a lab coat, at a cost of approximately $25 to $30. Student membership in the ADA is required. Cost to intern $49.00.

Monongalia General Hospital interns must attend a mandatory orientation. Cost to intern: $5.

If a facility requires a background check, the intern is responsible for paying the fee. The West Virginia Police provide these services. Cost to intern: $20.

Other Costs/Requirements:

Each intern is required to have his/her own form of transportation, as many rotations will be completed at off campus locations and some outside the City of Morgantown.

Interns are required to provide proof of the following immunizations/tests:
  • TB test
  • Hepatitis B immunization
  • MMR, Rubella, Tetanus and Chicken pox
